Tibetan Highway refers to the 700 miles of the Qinghai- Tibet highway stretching from Lhasa to Qinghai through the vast Chang Tang Plateau in Northern Tibet.

Tibetan Highway pays tribute to the enduring spirit of the Tibetan nomads who inhabit these high lands, soon to be exploited by new Chinese entrepreneurs.

Through the sights and sounds of what the camera records and with barely a spoken word,  “Tibetan Highway” is a testament to the magical power of film. It transports the onlooker into other lives and distant lands and kindles a contemplative reflection while offering exciting perspectives through the poetic beauty of these unknown and very remote Tibetan lands.
